Why Rent Your Pool

Most Home Pools Are Empty
90% of the Week.

You built or bought the pool. You maintain it, heat it, and pay to keep it running year round. For most homeowners that cost sits quietly in the background — necessary, but rarely recouped.

SwimFitz is a private swimming school operating across London and Hertfordshire. We deliver professional one-to-one lessons at clients’ home pools, and we regularly need access to additional pool time — early mornings, daytime slots, occasional weekends.

We pay you a regular agreed fee. We bring everything we need. We leave the pool exactly as we found it. You don’t need to be there, and you don’t need to do a thing.

Consistent recurring payments — agreed in advance
Fully insured — we carry our own public liability cover
We supply all equipment — no cost or effort to you
You set the schedule — blackout dates always respected
No strangers in your home — pool access only
Income Potential

Real Money for a Pool
You Already Own.

Every pool arrangement is different. We agree a rate that reflects your location, pool size, and slot availability. Here is a realistic picture of what pool owners earn with us.

4–6 Sessions per week

A typical pool hire arrangement. Morning slots, flexible around your schedule.

Agreed Fixed monthly rate

No surprises. We agree a monthly figure upfront — paid reliably every month.

Zero Effort on your part

We manage our schedule. You simply grant us access for the agreed slots.

Your running costs don’t change when we use the pool. Heating, chemicals, and maintenance happen regardless. Our fee offsets those costs — or more.
Pool Requirements

What We Look For
In a Partner Pool.

We work with a range of pool types. If yours ticks the basics, get in touch — we will visit and tell you honestly whether it works for our lessons.

5m+

Pool Size

A minimum of 5 metres length allows comfortable one-to-one instruction. Wider pools are a bonus. Compact pools are worth a conversation — we have worked with smaller spaces for certain lesson types.

28–32°C

Heated & Year-Round

Our lessons run all year, so a heated pool is essential. If your pool is seasonal only, we may still have summer arrangements that work. Let us know your setup.

London / Herts

Location

We operate across Greater London and Hertfordshire. Central locations and areas with strong demand (North London, South West London, Herts villages) work best, but all areas considered.

Private

Safe Pool Access

Pool access via a side gate, separate entrance, or garden is ideal. Clients should not need to walk through your main living space. A dedicated access route is a strong plus.

Clean

Good Water Quality

We need the pool to meet standard hygiene requirements. If you have a regular maintenance schedule already in place, you are likely good to go.

Flexible

Morning Availability

Most lessons run early mornings or daytime weekdays. If your pool is available between 7am–1pm on weekdays, even part of the week, we want to hear from you.

The Benefits

More Than Just
Extra Income.

Passive Income

Recurring Monthly Revenue

A fixed monthly payment, agreed in advance, for slots that suit your lifestyle. Your pool covers its own running costs — and then some.

Fully Insured

Zero Risk to You

SwimFitz carries full public liability insurance for every session. You are not responsible for our clients during lessons. We handle our own risk entirely.

Your Rules

Complete Flexibility

You decide which slots are available. Holidays, house guests, maintenance days — block them out at any time. We plan around your availability, not the other way around.

No Effort

We Handle Everything

We bring equipment, manage our clients, and leave the pool in the same condition we found it. You do not need to be present, assist, or interact with lessons in any way.

Good Neighbours

Discreet & Professional

All our clients are pre-booked adults or families — quiet, professional, respectful. Lessons are one-to-one with an instructor. No noise, no groups, no disruption.

Long Term

Ongoing Partnership

We are not looking for a one-off hire. We want consistent pool access over months and years. A reliable arrangement that keeps paying you, season after season.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked
Questions.

How much could I earn from renting my pool?
The rate depends on your location, pool size, and the number of sessions per week. We agree a fixed monthly fee upfront, so you know exactly what you will receive. We are happy to discuss numbers as part of our initial conversation — email [email protected] to start that chat.
What if my pool is too small?
Our preferred minimum is around 5 metres in length, but we have worked with smaller pools for beginner and technique-focused lessons. It is always worth getting in touch — send us a rough description and a photo and we can tell you quickly whether it would work.
Who is liable if something goes wrong during a lesson?
SwimFitz carries full public liability insurance for all sessions. Our clients are covered under our insurance during lessons. You are not responsible for injuries or incidents that occur during our teaching sessions. We will provide a copy of our insurance certificate before any sessions begin.
Do I need to be home when sessions take place?
No. Many of our pool partners simply leave pool access available and go about their day. As long as we can get to the pool safely, we handle everything from there. Most homeowners find they barely notice we were there.
Can I stop the arrangement if I change my mind?
Yes. We ask for reasonable notice (typically 4 weeks) so we can rearrange our lesson schedule, but there are no long lock-in contracts. We want this to be a good arrangement for both sides — if it stops working for you, we will always respect that.
What if my pool is only available certain times of year?
Seasonal arrangements are possible, particularly for outdoor or unheated pools. Summer-only availability is workable for the right location. Let us know your situation and we will work out whether a seasonal arrangement makes sense.
Will you use any chemicals or equipment that could damage my pool?
No. We use standard pool-safe teaching aids (floats, kickboards) and nothing that would affect your water chemistry. We do not add chemicals to the pool. Your maintenance routine stays exactly as it is.
