Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of SwimFitz services, including private home swimming lessons and all related activities. By booking or using our services, you agree to these Terms in full.
1. Fees & Payment
1.1 Lesson fees vary by location, lesson type and package. Contact us for pricing.
1.2 All fees must be paid in full no later than 48 hours before the scheduled lesson.
1.3 We accept debit/credit card and bank transfer. Online booking via Stripe is available at /book.
1.4 Returned payments may incur a £20 administrative fee.
2. Cancellations & Refunds
2.1 Cancel or reschedule with at least 48 hours' notice — no charge.
2.2 Cancellations within 48 hours incur a 50% charge; within 24 hours a 100% charge.
2.3 Refunds are not issued for missed lessons or unused sessions unless agreed in writing.
2.4 If SwimFitz cancels, a full refund or reschedule will be offered.
3. Medical & Individual Needs
3.1 All medical conditions, disabilities or individual needs must be disclosed before the first lesson.
3.2 We make every effort to accommodate individual requirements. Some circumstances may require alternative arrangements.
4. Health & Safety
4.1 SwimFitz conducts a safety assessment before the first lesson. Pool owners are responsible for meeting health and safety standards including water quality, fencing and equipment.
4.2 SwimFitz is not responsible for accidents resulting from unsafe pool environments or failure to follow safety advice.
4.3 A responsible adult must supervise children before and after lessons.
5. Attendance & Behaviour
5.1 Swimmers must be ready at the agreed start time. Late arrivals are not compensated.
5.2 A responsible adult must remain on-site for all swimmers under 16.
5.3 Disruptive behaviour may result in immediate termination of lessons without refund.
6. Pool & Liability
6.1 It is your responsibility to ensure the pool complies with safety regulations, including appropriate water quality and depth.
6.2 SwimFitz accepts no liability for pool defects, poor water quality, or injuries from pre-existing pool conditions.
6.3 SwimFitz holds public liability insurance covering accidents caused directly by our instructors.
6.4 SwimFitz is not liable for accidents from unsafe pool environments, swimmer negligence, or loss of personal belongings.
7. Photography & Privacy
7.1 No photography or video recording is permitted during lessons without prior written consent from SwimFitz.
7.2 All personal data is handled in accordance with UK GDPR. See our Privacy Policy.
8. Weather & Pool Maintenance
8.1 Lessons may be rescheduled due to unsafe weather conditions for outdoor pools. SwimFitz will notify you promptly.
8.2 Pool unavailability due to maintenance is the client's responsibility to communicate. Refunds are not automatically issued.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. By using SwimFitz services, you agree to these Terms in full.
